Summer, what summer? It's already time to start back to school shopping. I wish they'd let the kids go back in late September, rather than late August. It's silly for them to start school when the weather is still so great. Especially since the weather here is so crummy for so much of the year.
My little Emi is starting kindergarten in the "fall" which will leave me with only one child not in school for two years. I cannot believe how fast that happens. I only have on month left with Emi before she's officially a big kid grade schooler. Talia will be a sixth grader, Aubrey a first grader and Ryker will be in preschool. Already. He's my baby for a couple more years at least.
I'm tempted to start homeschooling them but I'd have to be a stay at home mom for that to happen.
I'm going to be working nearly full time at Harris starting next month and part time at DT, and I'm starting back at ISU as well. I've been a junior forever, it seems like. Stupid maths. How I'm actually going to accomplish this is a bit of a mystery, but it's like show-biz, somehow it all works out in the end. If anyone has any brilliant ideas for me, I'm all ears. I think I'm going to have to take out an additional student loan just to keep up on my Red Bull habit.
