Robb, Aubrey, Emi, and Ryker traveled to Boise to pay a visit to Robb's Aunt Katie. They met up with Robb's parents, his sister's family, and his cousins. Thankfully, Katie is out of the hospital and doing much better. We all think of her often and wish her the best. While they were there, they group all stayed at Katie's house. The kids enjoyed the trip, and the extra time with their Vegas grandparents. Here's the kids sacked out in a makeshift bed in the kitchen. They look surprisingly cozy.
The Sunday before Christmas, we all broke our usual Sunday tradition of reading and cuddling went to watch grandma sing in church.
Aren't they cute in the rare moment they are in their Sunday best?
All of the Clark kids and families also paid a visit to Great Grandma and Grandpa Brown right before Christmas. We all ate dinner together, and rode on some toys, and had a good time with our grandparents. We hope they had a festive holiday.... It was nice for all of us to spend some time together. Although, I've promised to not put any more photos of my extended fam on the blog, it was fun to see everyone! I am very grateful for my family; it was the nicest Christmas gift to be able to see everyone.
Ryker braved the cold while waiting for his turn to ride on the snowmobiles...
Aubrey is a snowbunny for sure! That kid could have frozen fingers, toes, nose, and a decent case of frostbite, and she would still beg to ride on her favorite machine. Some children may have visions of sugarplums and whatnot dancing in their heads, but my children, coming from freezing Idaho and the Archie Adrenaline Clark legacy, dream of hitting a perfect patch of power at mach-90. Yeah baby.... That's how we roll!
Check out these little hot-roddin' kids! Wait...who are those weirdos on the back?!?!?
We love our Great Grandma Brown!
Aubrey is very attached to her Great Grandpa. She made sure to sit right by him all afternoon, sharing her cookies and cocoa. I think she hugged him just about every 30 seconds. He didn't seem to mind. I think he got a kick out of her loving personality.
Emi is very excited about her new little cousin. She kept begging me to take her picture with him. No wonder, he is a darling baby boy!

Look at how fortunate Talia is! She has support from every side of her family! She is a loved child.... Dave Sr., Dave Jr., Brittany, Alison, Robert, Kiler, Reagan, Duppy, Bacca, Emi and Ryker all traveled in icy conditions to watch her sing with the 5th grade. As a mother, what more could I hope for from her extended family? I am so thankful for them for being so good to my daughter.

Emi, just a few seconds after she hopped off of the machine for the first time. Her eyes were just lit up with glee...

The kids had fun this month with Christmas parties at dance class, and at school. Aubrey and Emi performed a couple of times with their dance classes. This was right after their performance at the Elks Lodge on the 19th.
Talia and Aubrey also sang in the elementary school Christmas program. This is Aubrey with one of her classmates, waiting to go on stage. (That waiting room full of about 300 unsupervised, hyped up k-6th graders was terrifying. I shudder whenever I think about it. The sounds that emitted from that room alone should have alerted the authorities. That would be my Reason # 1014 for not joining the PTO.)
Aubrey is the girl in the second row, with angelic expression, and Santa hat. I'm not sure how she managed while surrounded by so many boys.

One afternoon after Emi's dance class, we were all a bit antsy and decided to make an impromptu visit to the geese at the river. I was thinking of feeding them, but the girls thought the birds would warm up faster if chased.
In all likelihood, the kids had the most fun with their grandparents' new toy: The kitty cat. We all took the kitty for a spin in the front yard, had a great time and froze our bits and pieces off. Thank you Dupster and Bacca for the good times! You guys know how to have a good time!
Check out these grins! That kitty knows how to make a kid purr.

To say the least, it has been one heck of a ride for our family this month!
P.S. Watch for our family Christmas post coming soon.....
